Been at the car today.. got live diags up for fuel pressure, fuel and reporting 800-1000 kpa and a desired of almost 30000 kpa with a simmilar story on the injectors live data showing about 5kpa and a desired of almost 60kpa. Ill add a photo when im home to show the data.
Posted April 20, 2022. Hi, my 2014 Mk2 Galaxy (2.0 TDCI) often goes into limp mode when accelerating hard. It shows " service engine now" on the dash and loses power (I guess the turbo gets disabled?). Stopping the car and switching the engine off will "cure" the problem.
Posted December 23, 2023. Hi, i have a problem with high fuel pressure pump on my Mondeo Mk4 2.0 tdci 140hp automatic. The dealer told me that the pressure needs to be somewhere between 280 and 320 psi but my pump is making 420 psi.
Support. My 2007 TCDI 2.0 Mondeo has done 130,000 miles & generally runs without a problem. However, on zero or a very light throttle it seems to surge ie seems to accelerate fractionally,then not, then on again etc. Pehaps 2 or 3 seconds between on & off if you see what I mean.
My car is a 2008 140. I needed a new middle section on the exhaust. During that being fitted, it was noticed that there was a split at the flexi. I bought a new downpipe from carparts4less and that was fitted a week later. Almost instantly, I had issues with smoke from under the bonnet.
